Power gone, or something not right? We answer 24/7.
Electrical faults do not keep office hours. Our engineers are on call around the clock for total power loss, circuits that will not reset, burning smells and any situation that feels unsafe. We make the installation safe first, then explain what is needed — no scare tactics.
What counts as an electrical emergency.
If in doubt, switch off at the consumer unit and call us. The following all warrant an immediate call-out — several are potential C1 “danger present” situations under BS 7671.
- A burning smell or scorch marks around a socket, switch or consumer unit — isolate the circuit and call straight away.
- Total loss of power that is not a wider outage, or a main switch that trips the moment it is reset.
- Exposed or damaged wiring, a hot plug, buzzing accessories or water reaching electrics after a leak or flood.
- Repeated RCD tripping that leaves you without lighting, heating or refrigeration.
Safe first, fixed fast.
Call
Speak to a qualified electrician who triages the fault and, where safe, talks you through isolating it.
Attend
An engineer is dispatched with a stocked van and a clear, agreed call-out charge.
Make safe
The immediate danger is removed and the installation is made safe before any further work.
Repair
We complete the repair, or quote for it, and issue the relevant certificate for the work done.
Good to know before you book.
Prefer to talk it through? Call 0330 043 8871 and speak to a qualified electrician, not a call centre.
Ask a questionAre you really available at night and weekends?
Yes. Our emergency line is staffed around the clock, every day of the year, including bank holidays.
What should I do while I wait?
If there is a burning smell or visible damage, switch off the affected circuit — or the main switch — at the consumer unit and keep clear until we arrive.
What does an emergency call-out cost?
You are given a clear call-out charge before we attend, with any repair priced and approved by you before we carry it out. No hidden add-ons.
Can you leave the property safe if the full repair takes longer?
Yes. Our priority is always to remove the immediate danger and make the installation safe, then arrange any larger works at a time that suits you.
One local team for the whole job.
