Running out of sockets or relying on extension leads is both inconvenient and a safety risk. We add double sockets, USB and USB-C outlets, outdoor points and upgraded switches — spurred correctly or on a new circuit, tested and certified.
What we fit
Sockets and switches, safely added.
Adding an outlet is not simply splitting an existing one — it has to respect the circuit design. We assess the circuit first, then add the outlet the right way.
- Extra double sockets. Added by fused spur or new circuit so the ring is not overloaded.
- USB and USB-C outlets. Combined sockets that charge devices without a plug-in adaptor.
- Outdoor and garage sockets. Weatherproof, RCD-protected outlets for the garden, garage or outbuilding.
- Switch upgrades. Dimmers, fan isolators, cooker switches and modern accessory finishes.

Assess
We check the existing circuit can take the new outlet, or plan a dedicated one.
STEP 02
Route
Cables are chased in or run in tidy containment, agreed with you first.
STEP 03
Fit
The socket or switch is installed, connected and the finish made good.
STEP 04
Certify
We test the addition and issue a Minor Works Certificate.

Only where the circuit design allows. Often the safe approach is a fused spur or a new circuit — we assess first so the ring is not overloaded.
Do you fit USB sockets?
Yes, including USB-C. They let you charge phones and tablets directly without occupying a plug socket or using an adaptor.
Can I have an outdoor socket?
Yes. We fit weatherproof, RCD-protected outdoor sockets for gardens, garages and outbuildings, on a suitable circuit.
Is the work certified?
Every addition is tested and issued with a Minor Works Certificate for your records.
